How to file a claim

Here’s a short video showing how to file theft protection claims for StableCare Members directly in the Stable app.

How to submit a StableCare claim:

  1. Within the Stable App, login to your existing Stable account*.

  2. Navigate to the StableCare page on the bottom of the home screen.

  3. Perform account verification steps to complete StableCare Membership validation. Account verification involves phone verification, ID verification, capturing a live self portrait, capturing a live photo of your vehicle, anchor lock/s**, and alarm if you have one, and signing and attesting to our Membership Agreement.

    Stable will review your account verification submission within 72 hours and, once your identity has been verified, will update your unverified account to a verified account.

  4. Click Activate Benefit in the middle of your screen under your StableCare Membership card and submit a theft claim. Be sure to provide as much detail as you can about the theft. You will be able to upload a copy of your police report and any photo or video evidence you’d wish to submit***.

    You can upload additional photos or videos at any time and add additional details at any time to update your claim. We will reach out if we need any additional information from you.

  5. After we’ve reviewed your claim, we will send you a summary about whether it was approved or denied. You will be able to appeal a denied claim and provide additional evidence, which will be reviewed before your claim is closed. See our Terms and Conditions for more details.

ℹ️ * You must already be a StableCare Member to submit a StableCare claim.

ℹ️ ** You may wish to use more than one lock when you lock up your vehicle, which we welcome and encourage! We expect that you have one lock that serves as the “anchor” lock, which is probably your most secure or heavy-duty lock. You are required to use at least the anchor lock each time you lock up. If you don’t use the anchor lock one time and your vehicle is stolen, the Company reserves the right to refuse your claim.

ℹ️ *** We require a police report be uploaded to process your claim. Any additional photo or video evidence to support your claim helps, but is not required to process your claim.
